20" original tin head - blue glass eyes - wood arms - marked Germany - dressed

Description

All original 20" tin head, incised on back: Germany,  head has light blue set glass eyes, painted upper & lower lashes, red accented eyes & nostrils, an open mouth  showing 5 upper teeth, original blond mohair wig in nice clean condition.  There are 7 small paint rubs on the face, one on the back plate. Her lower arms are painted wood with carved fingers, both thumbs have broken  The original pink cloth stuffed body is in good clean aged condition, is red ink marked on front: MADE IN GERMANY, ?? & Co.  The body is in very nice condition, string lacing on back & front is to form a figure and waistline. She wears an antique white cotton long one piece undergarment with ruffled eyelet at leg bottoms, an antique white cotton eyelet petticoat, long black cotton knit stockings, antique two piece dress of light blue taffeta  (faded in various areas) with black lace overlay on the top and a black velvet ribbon around the bottom of the skirt. The jacket back closure has three pretty black buttons with cord loop closures. Both pieces are  fully lined. The lovely matching black velvet bonnet has a large jaunty feather with a blue taffeta band & bow. A very nice original old tin head.  Buyer pays shipping,  I accept Paypal.
