Bottom marked "DISNEY TAIWAN", indicating that this item was outsourced to Taiwan, intended for sale in Japan, but left unshipped in a warehouse in Japan since the company went out of business some years ago.

Seto is a city located in the center of Japan, and is also the center for Japan's ceramics industry.
From Occupied Japan Era to the late '70s, Seto-yaki items under various brand names used to be exported worldwide. However, as the ceramics industry has been declining year by year, many manufacturers have been forced to shut down their factories in the last few decades.
