Barrel:  Inscription "R. Esterbrook Co. / Made in U.S.A."   The inscription is incredible.  See 6th picture.

The 3 ridge jewel (only used for this model) is perfect.
This pen is in excellent condition for its age.  The only thing to note is there is a scratch on the R.E of the inscription on the barrel.  See last pic.
We installed a new bladder and tested the filling system.  It is guaranteed and GOOD TO GO!!!
We love this pen because we believe it was in the first roll out of this model. The barrel is like that of the Dollar pen with the "R" Esterbrook. The clip is not inscribed like later models and the top jewel has 3 ridges.  This combination is rarer and rarer to find.
