WARRANTY OFFERED
A.) JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC offers the following warranty for the parts sold:

Used Replacement Engines - 30 Days from date of possession

Used Replacement Transmissions - 30 Days from date of possession
·
All Rotary Engines (Mazda RX7 RX8 Cosmo 13B/20B) - No Warranty
·
All Electrical Parts and accessories on Engine - No Warranty
·
Turbochargers or Superchargers ? No Warranty
B.) ITEMS AND CONDITIONS COVERED BY THE LIMITED WARRANTY
·
All internal engine parts including: pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms and shafts, engine block, cylinder walls, head gasket, and cylinder head are included under warranty and guaranteed to be free of cracks or distortion.

JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC reserves the right to repair with rebuilt or serviceable used parts, or exchange the engine at its own discretion and determination.
C.) ITEMS NOT COVERED
All external parts attached to the engine, and wear and tear maintenance parts is not covered under warranty since we do not charge a core charge so you can use the components from your old engine.
This includes parts like: intake and exhaust manifolds, carburetors, distributor, starter, emission control devices, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses, oil pan, valve cover, sensors, electronic sensors, spark plugs, distributor, wires, Computers, injectors, timing chain, timing chain guides, timing chain tensioner, motor mounts, driveshaft, etc.
D.) FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS VOIDS THE WARRANTY.

Must be Installed and Maintained, by a Certified Mechanic.
·
Ignition and Timing must be set to Recommended Manufacturer Specification.
·
Coolant system must be flushed and radiator must be clean of any oil residue.
·
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, oil filter, air filter, and spark plugs must be replaced.
·
Oil Pan and Front Case needs to be free of oil leaks.
·
Removal or separation of major internal components voids the warranty. Eg: Cylinder Head and internal components, Connecting rods and components, crankshaft and components, piston and components,
E.) THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
·
Any labor charges for installation or removal of engine or part sold. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
·
Any damage caused by abuse, neglect, accident or natural perils.
·
Loss caused by improper engine installation.
·
Towing charges and/or freight or delivery charges.
·
Loss caused by overheating. The warranty does not cover oil leaks, blown head gasket or any other engine damage due to overheating caused by poor water circulation, clogged radiator, stuck thermostat or a faulty water pump, etc (SEE SECTION D.)
·
Decrease in performance of any covered part due to normal wear and tear (unless actual breakdown occurs), having regard to inherent manufacturing faults in some engine models.
·
Loss caused by any modification or use of the engine for which it is not originally designed.
·
The engine if it is used for competitive driving, drifting, racing, or excessive
·
Loss caused by the failure of a part or parts of the engine that are not covered by this limited warranty.
·
Tune-ups and adjustments, filters, hoses, belts, lubricants, coolants, emission control devices, spark plugs, tune-up parts, etc.
·
Deterioration or pre-ignition damage.
·
Repairs performed without prior authorization from JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC
·
Loss caused by defective timing belt. A brand new timing belt must be installed.
·
Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS, Turbos, Supercharged) for which the engine was not designed.
F.) WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
1. To file a warranty claim please contact JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC via email or phone and we will assist you in the procedure
2. The customer is responsible for all the freight charges on the return of defective engines and no replacement engine will be sent until our staff have inspected and verified the returned defective engine in question. If the engine is defective JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC will either send a replacement engine or issue a refund minus the shipping charges. This decision is based on JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC discretion.
3. The engine MUST be returned in the same condition it was sent in. If parts are missing or not in same condition it was sent it, it will be refused by the receiving team.

The limited warranty is in lieu of any and all other expressed warranties of JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC. Any warranty implied is limited to the duration of this limited warranty. JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC does not assume or authorize any person to assume on its behalf any other obligation of liability. By making a purchase from JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC you agree with our warranty terms and conditions as listed in this section of the warranty.

We do not provide install instructions nor do we guarantee fitment since the japanese engines we provide fit in a variety of vehicles. What you see is what you will be receiving, nothing more, nothing less
JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or commercial loss, or any other consequential damage or loss. JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC does not provide install instructions or fitment guides for your purchase, be sure to know what you are buying before making your purchase.
Engines complete with accessories may not comply with the emission control laws of the state in which it is being sold or used. State and/or federal authorities require that you change over the emission devices from your old engine to the engine you are installing to make it comply. Please note that JDM TOKYO MOTORSPORTS LLC is not responsible for emissions or smog certification. The purchase price represents the cost of the long block only (i.e. cylinder head and short block only).
