This MABBCO® Remanufactured Short Block is for a Ford 5.0 302 motor, model years 1968-1980.  This short block is identifiable by its two piece rear main seal, non-roller camshaft, and heavy crankshaft (uses 28oz. balancer) with #2M or #2MA crankshaft casting number.
MABBCO® short blocks include NEW pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, timing set, and freeze plugs. MABBCO® short blocks are sold outright.  NO CORE REQUIRED.

Most aftermarket aluminum cylinder heads have oversized valves.  Installing cylinder heads with oversized valves in combination with stock pistons can lead to the pistons contacting the valves during engine operation.  The possibility of insufficient clearance is further increased when a customer also installs a high performance camshaft, head gaskets with a reduced compression thickness, or roller rockers with a greater than stock ratio.  MABBCO is pleased, however, to offer customers an affordable performance piston option that avoids the problems described above.  MABBCO's performance pistons are made of a hypereutectic alloy and have oversized valve reliefs specifically designed to accommodate the oversized valves of aftermarket aluminum cylinder heads.

Motors are shipped to a nearby freight terminal or to a commercial address where a lift gate is not required (i.e. the customer has a forklift or other means of unloading).  Shipping is within the contiguous US ONLY.  Residential shipping is not available through eBay.  Motors are shipped F.O.B Tyler, Texas.  Buyer to pay freight costs.  Motors can also be picked up locally at the Tyler, Texas factory.  Buyer is liable for return shipping on any returns or warranty claims.
