Why do you need this harness?
When replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket radio a special harness is required.
Includes pins
that go to the steering wheel switches interface module.
This harness does
not
fit the connector on the factory radio.
Wiring harness
not
compatible with premium/JBL/BOSE or amplified sound systems.
ONLY
for aftermarket radio installations.
Fits the 20-pin Speaker/Power plug on the car side.
Subaru
vehicles with 10/6-pin Radio connectors are not compatible and require the 2061 harness instead.Contacting us for this.
For Subraru vehicle:
-Long BLACK wire from 20-pin harness to both the BLACK and WHITE/GREEN wires on ASWC-1 harness
-Long RED wire from 20-pin harness to RED on ASWC-1 harness
-Long GREEN wire on 20-pin harness to GRAY/RED on ASWC-1 harness
