    Description

    The Tanzania 10,000 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Bank of Tanzania in 2020. It has a color combination of red and yellow and bears Swahili and English text. The obverse depicts the coat of arms of Tanzania and an elephant. The reverse depicts the Bank of Tanzania headquarters building in Dar es Salaam, a diamond-shaped Spark patch with a giraffe’s head, and flowers. The note contains a Motion windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals Julius Kambarage Nyerere with an electrotype 10000. It is 140 x 68 mm in size and is signed by Philip Mpango and Florens Luoga. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
