    Description

    A lovely  Carlton Ware divided platter in the shape 2593.
    A pale aqua with darker wash towards the edges.
    The pattern is purple magnolia flowers on a branch stretching across one side of the dish.  Oval shape tapering to a point at  the each end.
    Marked on the reverse - Carlton Ware, Made in England / handpainted and a registered Australian Design.
    2593 impressed into the back of the dish, identifying the shape.
    Measuring 13 3/8”  x 91/2”.
    Excellent condition. There is a small dark spot in the glaze that appears to be in the making. Also one tiny glaze miss.
