Vintage Carlton Ware Rouge Royale Pitcher Red Lustre Pagoda 7-1/4" w/Gold Trim
Offered for sale is a vintage Carlton Ware Rouge Royale Pitcher, catalog/style #2676, in Red Lustre with enameled design and gold trim. Standing about 7-1/4" tall, it features a pagoda on one side, and a bridge over a stream with a small boat on the other. Other small painted images appear on the back of the handle. The upper rim has a lacy design in gold. The handle is solid gold. The bottom of the piece has a partial original label, with a style number, 2676, that matches the impressed number on the piece itself. It is also signed Carlton Ware, and Rouge Royale (partially under the label). It measures about 7" from spout to back of handle, and about 4" deep. Crazing is visible in the cream lustre interior and on the bottom, but overall the piece is in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
