Vintage Empire Neoclassical Ebony and Rosewood Headboard Tuscan Columns
Gorgeous vintage Neoclassical headboard having Doric column supports flanking a beautifully grain Rosewood center panel topped by a rosette carved and fluted frieze. Each side is topped with a carved and gilt finial. Excellent quality on a par with Baker or Kindel but marked simply with incised “899”. The nightstands that accompanied this but did not match exactly were Kindel.  Measures 60.5 inches width by 47.5 inches height overall. Condition: minor nicks and chips typical to pieces age but nothing that detracts.
