    Description

    ORIGINAL
Quick Bits Quick Stop Hackamore (Fast Stop) Western Training Hackamore.
Designed in the 1940's, this is a training hackamore that has no equal for schooling all types of horses; cutting, roping, stock, and pleasure. A must for trainers, ropers and horsemen. Hangs loosely, does not annoy the horse, and has adjustable noseband. The noseband is connected to a cast aluminum "bumper” with a chain and cotter pin adjustment which runs through chain on back of "bit”, giving a wide range of sizing options. The chain noseband is covered with leather and is rigid, but comfortable for the horse.  There is a leather hanger included that adjusts from 38-1/2 inches in length to 45 inches with room to punch more holes to make it larger or smaller as needed.
Quick Bits have been handmade in Southern California for over 55 years.  They are made to last a lifetime of use.
Don't be fooled by the other major bit brands that import their bits from China.  They are inferior bits that will either break or injure your horse.  Your horse's mouth is a major part of riding.  If it gets injured, then you can't ride with a bit until it heals.
Many major Rodeo stars and Barrel racing contestants use Quick Bits.  If you are wondering why, it is because Mike Quick was a finalist in the National Finals Rodeo and knows what a horse needs.
Quick Bits® was established over 65 years ago by Ervin Quick.  Mike Quick, bit maker since 1963 continues the top quality handcrafting tradition.  Mike is a professional horseman who has started showing horses and riding in gymkhanas in grade school.  He roped professionally for more than 20 years, winning the Sierra Circuit calf roping championship and placing 2nd in Team Roping at the PRCA National Finals Rodeo (NFR).
Mike also competed on the Team Penning Circuit, winning two World Championships and also trails rides for pleasure and relaxation.  Though Mike's equine activities and making bits for the finest horsemen in the world, Quick Bits® will make the right bit for you and your horse to improve the performance of your activity.
