  • Condition: all of my USED drives are completely disassembled new bearings installed where needed ( to Volvo spec) prop shaft checked for strait and resealed( original paint) no extra paint work done (5500). all REBUILT drives have the housings glass bead blasted and marine powder coated Volvo DP-e grey new zink and pivot bushings no prop shaft hardware all housings in very good used condition NOT all eaten up like some drives you will find on eBay.

    Description

    Volvo Penta stern drive model 290 DP-C, C1, D, D1 , E and G drive 1.57.1.68, 1.78:1 , 1.95:1, 2.30 and some 232:1 gear ratio completely disassembled, small prop shaft checked for straight, new bearings were needed and resealed (all used drives).  I will also build to order or repair your drive.  I also have new or used parts for these drives, just email me with your Volvo Penta stern drive needs.  Our used or freshened drives have the original Volvo paint still intact (condition of paint varies).  If you want pretty, buy a rebuilt drive ( as pictured in the first listing photo) .  I also do not charge a core as most are junk anyway AND NOT WORTH THE COST OF SHIPPING.  My housings are thoroughly steam cleaned and  glass bead blasted and are free of corrosion and not eaten up like others you may find in other listings.  I can also do 290 DP-A and B drives when the parts are available.  I will strap to a shipping pallet and deliver to our local shipping company (Alaska Marine Lines in Ketchikan, Alaska) and truck  ship to your location.  These out drives/stern drives can also be split into 2 halves and mailed.  Prices start from 00.00  for used resealed drives up to ,500.00 + for rebuilt drives.  I also buy and sell used drives and rebuilt top gear boxes, actually anything Volvo dp-290. NOTE PLEASE: I have noticed a few re-manufactured or rebuilt drives listed that have cruddy shafts and rusty seals and really pitted/eaten up housings covered with nice paint all over the out drive (spray and prey rebuilds)  FIND OUT WHAT REBUILT MEANS!! is it rebuilt meaning (all new gears ,bearings and seals) OR JUST bearings and seals. OR JUST PAINTED!!!  Watch out for this ...look at pictures closely ASK Questions please! be sure of what you are buying VOLVO PENTA PARTS ARE EXPENSIVE .
