Description

The wonderful line of British pottery called Walking Ware was designed by Danka Napiorkowska and Roger Michell in the early 1970s for the historic Carlton Ware manufacturer .  This whimsical line was extremely popular and many credit it with saving the company!
This listing is for three Walking Ware mugs: two larger (roughly 3 5/8" tall, holding about 10 oz) with polka dot socks - one brown shoes, one blue shoes - and one smaller (
roughly 3 3/8" tall, holding about
8 oz) with green shoes and star socks.
The larger ones are unmarked. The smaller one has the Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery mark and is dated 1973, indicating it is one of the earliest models.
All are in excellent condition with no damage.
